TEAM RVA Zo Holy Week reach out

Every Holy Week and last week of Advent, TEAM RVA Zo reaches out to some parishes
where Zo is spoken and where listeners abound. During this Holy Week, TEAM RVA Zo
was in St.Mary’s Parish, where Fr.Athanasius is based as Parish Priest and as RVA Zo Co-
ordinator. In fact it was at his behest that the team reached to this parish during Holy Week.
The brief reach out ministry began on Holy Thursday at St.Mary’s Parish, Tuibuang where
the Lord’s Last Supper was celebrated with Washing of the Feet. This was officiated by
Fr.Mark Thang Khan Ai, RVA Zo Director while Fr.Athanasius travelled to a nearby village
for the same ceremony.
Fr.Mark celebrated Good Friday at Gamnuom village, some 10 km uphill. Easter Vigil was
again officiated by Fr.Mark in the parish. The services were well arranged and deeply
appreciated by the various communities. Fr.Mark joined the community meal at San Thome,
a unit of the parish where he delivered an Easter message of joy and hope. TEAM RVA Zo
reach out is an important component of the preaching ministry of the service during important
